Katie is an award-winning Designer based in the North West. She trained at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and upon graduating was the inaugural recipient of the Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse Prize for Theatre Design. Since graduating, Katie has gone on to work across the UK designing a range of productions with a particular interest in new writing and productions for young audiences. Katie is proud to be an Associate Artist at Box of Tricks Theatre Company.

Katie is passionate about raising the profile of Designers living in the North and is a co- founder of The North West Design Allotment. A platform to champion the theatre design talent in the North West, creating a community for practitioners living and working in the region.

She is also a dedicated committee member of the Society of British Theatre Designers and she is a representative for the association within the Alliance of Associations & Professionals in Theatre & Live Events – advocating for Theatre Designers and encouraging communication across all disciplines.
